In this version of the traditional hymn, Faith Of Our Fathers watch the lovely young man behind Frank Patterson who does not join in this hymn although he had sung a Gaelic piece as part of this concert.This recording speaks from the dark and tragic history of the shame of sexual abuse which now haunts the once proud Irish Church. The "Faith of the Fathers" betrayed the young and the vulnerable and like the young man in the clip this song fails to stir the heart or capture the spirit of a new generation. Nostalgia is not a grace.
