Why I Don't 'Follow" the Leaders

The happy looking chaps in this image are  leaders of five Christian churches who will come together over the coming months to conduct a series of free gatherings for the first time across south-east Queensland.

Without trying to read too much into the graphic the happy chappies smiling out at us are:  Archbishop John Bathersby (Roman Catholic in the middle wearing the purple zucchetto, a great word for scrabble players!!)), Archbishop Phillip Aspinall (Anglican Church just below the Catholics, whoopsie,I do hope that Catholic Media didn't do the pic!) Reverend Bruce Johnson (Uniting Church wearing what seems to be his favourite red tie), Reverend Noel Noack (Lutheran Church, the only one of the group wearing liturgical dress) and Reverend David Loder (Baptist Church who also seems to have a preference for red ties).

According to Catholic Archbishop John Bathersby   ‘Living Jesus’,  gatherings were a unique opportunity to be inspired by the faith of Church leaders sharing the impact Jesus has had in their lives. “I am delighted to have the privilege of publicly speaking about Jesus and His vision,” Archbishop Bathersby said

Well, I thought the Archbishop and his mates had more than enough opportunity to do that in their regular public worship services.

Are there no female Church leaders who can share their vision of Jesus?
Are there no Indigenous Church leaders who can share their vision of Jesus?
Are there no Gay or Lesbian Church leaders who can share their vision of Jesus?
Are their no young adults or young people in Church leadership  who can share their vision of Jesus
Are there no Church leaders from a Refugee background who can share their vision of Jesus?
Are there no couples in Church leadership who can share their vision of Jesus?

I wonder if I will get answers to these questions at the sessions I attend?
